The Millis Fire Department is a combination department made up of 9 career personnel and 19 call personnel.    

The Department is made up of a Full-time fire chief, 2 full-time Lieutenants   and 6 full-time firefighter/emt's covering 24 hrs, 7 day's a week, on a 10hr day 14 hr night rotating schedule.

The Call department  is made up of one Deputy Chief, One Captain,      One Lieutenant and 16 dedicated firefighters.

The Millis Fire Department responds to calls for fires, mva's, medicals, hazmat, rescues and mutual aid. The department responds to approx. 1,400 calls per year. The department also has an aggressive fire prevention program thru S.A.F.E and educates children from preschool to the 5th grade.
