The Professional Firefighters of Millis
The Millis Fire Department is working with F.A.S.T. CPR & Life Safety Training to offer monthly CPR classes. If you would like to take this class or have any questions you can contact Chief Barrett (508) 376-2361 Monday through Friday 8AM to 4PM. You can also contact F.A.S.T. find them and like them on Facebook. We also have a link to their website.
We would like to take this time to remind all our residents to make sure all your vents around your home are cleared. With all this snow it is easy to have them blocked. This will cause carbon monoxide to build up into your house. As always if this does happen and your detectors go off please exit your home and call 911.
We would also like to ask the help of all our residents with shoveling out hydrants that are near or in your yard. the quicker we can get to the water the quicker we can put out fires if they do happen.
We would also like to ask to check on your elderly neighbors to make sure they are warm and safe. Please help those who can't clear their own driveways and walkways to keep them clear in case of emergencies.
