   Burning Permits

Open burning season began Monday January 15th (burning season is January 15th through May 1st)  This is the first year all burn permits will be issued at the Fire Department.  Residents are required to come to the fire station and fill out a burn permit and pay a $5 fee by check only (unable to accept cash or credit at this time.)

Prior to burning, all residents need to call the Open Burning Registration Line (508-906-3310) There will be a message stating whether or not burning is allowed that day.  Please leave a message with your name and permit number, the permit will be good for the remainder of the 2018 burning season.

ALS Program

The Millis Fire Department is progressively moving forward to the level of Advanced Life Support. This level of care will help in providing the residents of Millis and it's mutual aid communities the best possible care they can receive prior to being transported to the Emergency Department, we have three eager candidates moving forward in this program who have been anything above amazing, we also have two others who are just shy of receiving their license. This program is intense and fast paced, all of the members who have attended it or currently attending it have done an outstanding job. Good Luck and the Town is very lucky to have such dedicated personnel.
